This is a close-up view of my face.
Inside the green lines are a new constellation which I call the semi-circulus, which is Latin for semi-circle.
“What is that?” I thought, “Is it ringworm?”
“Age spots,” the Mirror said.
“Or maybe annular excema,” I added.
“Pretty sure it’s age spots,” said the Mirror.
“Let me see if freckles that follow an arc shape is a side effect of this new medicine.”
It is not. Sad that I’d rather have annular excema or ringworm than age spots.
I once went for a facial and was horrified to hear the esthetician say "isn't that cute, your age spots look like freckles". I still don't think I have ever accepted they are not freckles.

AH - I was looking up the distinctions (size, edges) and I see that she should have called them “sun spots”. That’s the new term, evidently. It makes it sound like a person is at risk of triggering the northern lights.
