The weight loss sites tell you that when you're on this drug, you should only weigh yourself once a month. "Don't weigh yourself once a day" they cry.
I'm not weighing myself once a day. I'm weighing myself multiple times a day. I weigh myself before bed, and when I wake up, I'm half a pound less.
They say addiction is a reaction to a dopamine boost. Who isn't going to get addicted to seeing the scale drop? And it drops while it feels like you are doing virtually nothing. "Belch your way to a flatter stomach."
But, strangely, they say that while on these drugs some people have less interest in everything that brings pleasure. But you know what brings me pleasure? Tracking the numbers. Documenting calories in, calories out, current weight. Not in an OCD way. At least not yet, anyway.
Glad you are having fun with it!

KC - it certainly isn’t what I expected.
