“Oh that’s a present for you!” Gary said, responding to my pantomime of, “What is this new nonsense from Amazon?”
This was my present.
“Stormtrooper biofeedback device?” I thought.
He said, “It’s a lighted magnifier. It’s great! It lets you do fine detail work. Like for your oil painting.”
For a moment I was charmed, then I said, “You bought this so you can read small print on Netflix and it’s not right and now you can’t return it.”
“No.” (Long pause.) “Well, yes.”
So now I have this device. I haven’t tried it yet. Still, the packaging does not give me great hope for the quality. Inside the package is a “Lenses receiver box,” which seems to be a box in which one might store one's multiple magnification lenses. The package also assures me that the device will provide “Strong or gentle light for chooes.”
I have no idea. I mean, spell check should have caught that, right?
Oooh, you can use it on your chooes!
... let me know if you ever find out what a chooes is.

Realistically, I'd probably bet on the intention being "you can choose between strong and gentle light" but non-English word order and misspelling run amok.
That said, if you *do* find a chooes [possibly some sort of traditional Lithuanian craft?] and this works on it...
