Almost twenty years ago, when this blog was young, I took a quiz to discover what book exemplifies me.
I got A Prayer for Owen Meany, a book currently sitting on my nightstand. I read the first chapter. I have not started the second chapter. I don't know why. This book has been recommended by everyone from the frontman for Barenaked Ladies to members of my work team.
I can only guess that the first chapter made me connect to the characters so much I don't want to continue to see what hell they go through next.
... that is a fair response to that book.
It does get... well... different, though? In some parts?

KC - It reminds me of how I feel about poetry. I have enough emotional uproar going on without having poetry in my head.
