A Surprising Thought

When we were setting up the will, an unsettling thing happened.

There's a conversation when the lawyer makes you think of all kinds of scenarios beyond Surviving Spouse Gets All the Money. What if you die together? Who should do x, who should get y? It was all very involved, and the lawyer asked me about some scenario where Gary was dead and I was not and I immediately thought, well, I'd want my next husband to Get All the Money.

Yes! I know! What next husband? EXACTLY. But evidently my subconscious thinks there will be a job opening for a replacement husband. 

I mentioned this plan to Gary and he was not in favor, but then remembered he'd be dead. So now he's cool with it. Surprising, though.
