So I made the Campbell's Cream of Bacon Soup recipe titled BBQ Bacon Slow Cooker Chicken.
Did I expect it to be delicately flavored? No, I did not. I expected it to taste like equal parts barbecue sauce, mustard, and bacon, poured over chicken thighs.
Instead, it tasted like barbecue sauce neutered with mayonnaise or sour cream, which was odd because there was no mayo or sour cream. I suppose I was tasting the cream of bacon soup.
Not bad, but not good.
Cream-of soup does tend to neutralize flavors a fair bit. (and thanks for the Photo of Food Honesty!)
(please tell me you're giving up on cream-of-bacon and the other food sequence items will be not-that? candid reviews are entertaining, but you do not need to suffer more soup...)

KC - I will not be trying any more cream of bacon soup dishes. However, this did inspire me to have bean-with-bacon soup for lunch. I ate bean-with-bacon once a week growing up.
