In the last week, I have heard two Covid veterans say they had been sick recently with something that was "way worse than Covid."
From what they reported the symptoms were:
- Desire for Cheerios
- Aversion to Cheerios
- Awful barking cough
- Noticeable Brain Fog
How mild were their previous Covid infections that this was worse? I mentioned this to the neurologist and he said he hadn't heard of any new variants. But watch out, just in case.
It seems like sickness is everywhere this season. The flu was supposed to be bad this year, because masked people didn't get last year's flu, so no one has antibodies, so there might be two flus this year. Gary has a migraine that hasn't let up for a week, my brother's been in the hospital, these co-workers were afflicted with Cheerio Syndrome. Be vigilant.
======== UPDATE
Evidently the new variant is BQ. The most noticeable symptom is "a throat on fire."
