So, the neurologist heard me when I said that the bladder incontinence medication only improved the situation about ten percent. He then mentioned the next option:
Bladder botox!
(I've already heard the joke about having a youthful, unwrinkled bladder.)
The way he described it, they put a shot of botox into your bladder muscle and it just slows everything down. You get a shot every six months. He also said that very rarely, things slow down to a point that ones bladder just stops, and then you might need to pop a catheter up there for a few weeks, but after that things resolve.
Evidently people have been doing this about ten years. I told him I could keep walking funny for about half a year still, and then after that I might try it.
