Lately, there have been too many nights spent watching Gary watch television, so I thought of my friends who assemble Lego models for fun. I thought that might be a fun shared experience for Gary and I.
I looked at some Lego models, then I wondered how much money my friends make. There was one Millennium Falcon Lego model that was $700 dollars. That might be entirely wrong, because it was so expensive I couldn't see anything after the 7. I wasn't looking for anything starting with a 7.
Instead I found this non-Lego model of an articulated Visible Man, with rubbery flesh and sturdy plastic bones that snap together in a very satisfying way. They also un-snap fairly easily, but I think I might apply some glue if I get it positioned the way I want. And if course, the position I want is draped over the edge of the tub in the medical bathroom.
If we -- well, if Gary gets frustrated I can point out that the bag of parts is labelled "BODY BAG," which makes me smile.
