Progress! Sometimes progress does involve going backwards for a bit.
(how is this looking vs. the other dog in terms of coordinating painting styles? Hoping to ask that question before this one is done so you can adjust if necessary...)

KC - color schemes (black and brown) are similar, transparency is a bit similar.

I was away so didn’t comment when you first posted this. I think the driftwood blanket works very well to solve the arm problem, and the remaining limb showing looks very realistic. Well done!

AH - I have heard that it is impossibly thick blanket which is adding to the driftwood effect. i;m gogjnto flatten it out a bit this week.
