This is not news.
Why doesn’t this headline say “Son Behaves Like a Human” or something similar? Why has People magazine been shoving this at me all weekend?

Well, some people would argue that specific people behaving like actual humans *is* news, but yes, that doesn't feel like the implication here, probably. Augh. (But I would have felt that "this is so humane as to be newsworthy!" way about the official statement about RBG's death from Trump if I hadn't been reasonably confident that he hadn't thoroughly read it before it was sent out.)

KC - perhaps it’s needed so Britons feel there is continuity, like when LBJ took the oath of office on Air Force one.
