This week the cenote went from this...
... to ...
The shadow is too dark now, and the edge makes no sense, but that’s easy to fix. The tongue that juts out over sinkhole is gone now, because it was making no sense to me, other than it made the shadow. I’m not fixing it anything but the edge of the hole, and I daub some colors on the top right and call it.
I need to select my next practice from the book. I think I’m going to try for the purple flowers in the copper pot - only there’s a ridiculous amount of copper detail, and no explanation of how it’s done. It starts out loose:
... and then gets really delightfully detailed. Look at that bowl!
Should be fun.
That is *fascinating* and I can't wait to see/hear how the bowl gets from point A to point B (I mean, if the instructions turn out to work, rather than just being a delusion and a snare)!
