Last Friday I was really cranky because neither Gary nor I had gotten a good sleep the night before, yet while Gary spent that day sleeping I spent the day working. To cheer me up, Gary suggested I go see Apollo 11 again, but this time he went with me.
I noticed a few things I missed the first time.
- I confused Florida Launch Control and Mission Control, so it is still possible I got pushed out of Mission Control.
- Michael Collins jaunty moustache grew quite a bit during their 18-day post-voyage isolation.
- Three cinematographers listed in the credits are the Apollo 11 astronauts.
I looked it up on IMDB, and it says, "Several of the recordings captured by the astronauts during the mission are featured in this documentary. These recordings by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins earned them honorary memberships in the American Society of Cinematographers."
