It's not flight, you know. When you are thrashing things out too much in your head, it's like running on a hamster wheel - you think you are getting somewhere, but you are not. So introducing something to break the pattern actually can help. For me, it's writing stuff down (I call it a brain dump) just to get it out of my head, where it's festering.


suburbancorrespondent - That usually works for me, but not lately. Music seems to help.
