Back in my day, winter storms:
1. Didn't have names
2. Didn't lead the national news, especially when they amounted to less than a foot of snow
3. Rarely shut school
4. Were a suprise
I find myself planning my day today around the weather. Last week's named winter storm endud up being fifteen minutes of sleet and an inch of snow. Still, there's enough stress in this house today I don't want to even think about driving in the rain, even, much less Cleo or Evan or whatever this damn thing is named.
Enough? Tease! Relax.

~~Silk - I think Gary calls it "excitement." but to the normal eye it looks like stress.

I hate the naming of the storms. Naming a storm should be special, and important, and they're cheapening it.

Ah, the sturdy pioneer, braving the elements! Glad I'm not in the midst of it.
