Yes, it's a video of me boiling water on the new stove. (Cameo by Gary.)
Video takes two minutes. Water boils in one minute.
I then boiled 8 quarts of water in a stockpot in 17 minutes after that.
Of the roast (cooked with the roast probe and convection roast setting), and the of the Brussels sprouts and Gruyere potatoes, Gary said, "It's like when I got my trumpet in high school. It cost twice as much as my old trumpet and I couldn't play it. I had to learn how to play all over again."
Pretty exciting stuff.

Did Gary do a slow boil over the SNAFU? Har har I kill myself. Glad it is all fixed. I have stove envy.

Wow! I also have stove envy. Is there a blue light that runs along the bottom of the control panel or is that a reflection from one of the lights higher up?
BTW, your accent makes me homesick. :-) (I know, you don't have an accent...neither do I. I was born just across the river from you in Alton, grew up in Springfield IL, and now live in NC. Believe me, down here I HAVE an accent. The locals usually think I'm from New York City. ??)

Another Springfield netizen.......Yes!
By the way, how does it do this?

Is this the new 'watching paint dry'?

Hattie - it amazes me! It's so much faster than the other stove I've had.
Zayrina - har, and Gary was delighted people couldn't come over. He hates it when people are coming over, but loves it when they actually are over.
Beth - That is afeature I didn't even know I was getting! It's an accent light. It has variable leve;s of brightness. Serves no purpose at all.
Benchmark - I spent a nice afternoon in Springfield once. And, it does it with magnets. Instead of moving the molecules by conducting heat from the burner, it induces moclecule movement by a pan-sized coiled copper magnet under the surface. (I think.)
Big Dot - if I had paint that would dry in ONE MINUTE I would share that too.
