Here is the recipe for my famous chopped salad.
Buy this stuff:
Chop it up.
It even seems like you can get Pearl Mozzarella anywhere now, but better women than I could chop up Mozzarella.
And that big white thing behind the avacados is Jicama.
Technically, it should all be chopped the same size as kernels of corn, but I put the small olives in whole. Use the olives as a reference point for scale.
It makes a big bowl of salad.

OH! And as an aside, I have missed Michael Phelps' pelvis so much.

And, the Wii Fit knew it was my birthday and the icon wore a little birthday hat. Really cute programming.
1. Yum. I may have to try that sometime soon--mom's been on a salad kick anyway. Do you have to do anything special to keep the avocado from turning brown when you store it? Also, what's in the can next to the olives? And the bowl next to that?
2. I <3 Michael Phelps. He's so cute when he's all excited about winning.
3. Awww! And Happy Birthday! And good for you for playing HealthyWii on your birthday.

Okay so I've guessed the can of Reese is Artichoke hearts, is the bowl chicken or fish? Also what do you usually dress it with? Enquiring minds want to know! (God I haven't used that phrase in ages!)

yes, how does he keep his unitard suit from falling down when he's got the top part rolled down around his hips?

That salad looks delicious! I should have my husband make it for me. Because, you know, my chopping skills would never meet his expectations. :-)

What's the matter, you don't think a side of mashed potatoes goes with EVERYTHING?
It's a restaurant...I wouldn't do it at home, but out? Sure.

Erin - "Do you have to do anything special to keep the avocado from turning brown when you store it?" No. It's just brown. I'm not serving it to anyone but me."Also, what's in the can next to the olives?" - you guessed it, Artichoke Hearts. "And the bowl next to that?" Chicken. Or whatever. I like really hard Volpi suasage too.
Amy in StL - It's chicken, and we dress it with whatever dressing is nearing expiration.
Magpie - I can only imagine he has the meatiest flaccid penile shaft ever.
Heidi - It's been yummy, but Gary keeps making suggestions. I dont want to add sun-dried tomatoes.
KC - Chopping is dangerous, so it's man's work. That might work on Gary, too. Hmm.
Caroline - Thanks!
Magpie - Well, okay then. I've been know to combine fries and salad myself, if I'm out.
