Good stuff that happened just today:
- Pretty weather.
- Manbitch was in the area for a conference and dropped off a gooey butter danish before I came in.
- Free bagels.
- Free coffeecake.
- Then, after lunch, free ice cream bars.
- Jeans Day at work.
- Pay day.
- Guster is coming to town (but I can't see where to buy tickets - I've never bought tickets through anything but Ticketmaster. A new adventure!)
- Puddle of Mudd, Bowling for Soup are coming to the ...
- Taste of Saint Louis event.
- Best Week Ever is back.
- Best Week Ever says Britney WAS lip-synching. (I wasn't sure.)
- I can now sing and play the guitar at the same time, if it's a nice four-chord Liz Phair song.
- I somehow managed to have money in my account when I got this paycheck today.
In general: I have the tastes of a teenager and the income of a grownup.
Whoa! All most excellent. It doesn't get much better than that.

I'd be content with just the coffeecake and Best Week Ever.

I say the next GNO you provide the music. :-)

"I have the tastes of a teenager and the income of a grownup." Which is perfection itself.

It all sounds great!

Becs - Free food and cheap music. That's all I need.
Kathy - Well, you have the ultimate playlist, so that's okay.
Friend #3 - Um, I discovered today that I can sing, but I sing worse than usual. And for some reason, I don't know, there's a lot more spit.
~~Silk - It's a good lifestyle for me.
Sue - Well.. as it turns out, the Guster concert is the SLU homecoming, and I don't know if I'd be able to crush a college homecoming.

As much as I dislike my job, I do appreciate that every day can be Jeans Day.

Catherine - technically, every day could be pajamas day at my job, but I dont take advantage of it.

Best Week Ever was the first thing that went on my iPod when I bought it. It's still pretty much the only podcast I actually follow. (I'd watch it on TV if I had [1] a less retarded schedule or [2] TiVo.) I had something else to say, too, but my brain just went *dink!* or *ping!* and tossed my train of thought out the window. Because trains go through windows in my world, apparently. I'm going to shut up now.

Rachelskirts - What's Better than Best Week Ever? BEST YEAR EVER. It combines my love of yearly retrospectives with narkicity (thanks to jamon) and pop culture.

Yes, yes, yes. I LOOOOVE Best Year Ever.

Rachelskirts - If only they had been around for the turn of the millennium. Best Millennium Ever!
