I noticed that part of the Mini Cooper site has been nominated for a Webby award.
It reminded me of when we were shopping for the Mini and had to electronically sign the terms and conditions on the site to submit our Mini order to the dealer. Buried in the TandC were stipulations that we had to:
1) Go rent The Italian Job immediately, and
2) Name our first-born child Cooper.
If there were a terms and conditions award, they should get it.
Someone who lives near where I work drives a vintage Cooper. In RED. With that keen white stripe on the hood. AND an old-school British license plate and everything.
I SO covet it. Oh my GOD.

I covet the vintage Mini too. It's much smaller. This "Mini" thing is a behemoth compared to the Honda CRX I used to drive.

I haven't see The Italian Job yet, but I do know that the Mini plays a significant role. I feel like I'm missing out on all the inside jokes. Sigh.
