Is it because now that you've got a start, the job has become boring? What about music while you work? Or maybe listening to a book or podcast? Might add a little pleasant mental stimulation to the task.

Hattie

It isn't at such a bad point, you know. It looks very neat. And after all it is a basement.

Arlene - gary once explained that the reason he didn't finish projects was because he'd have to confront the difference between his vision and the reality. That might be it.
Hattie - Oh, no. Things are piled! It won't do.

Kristie

Me too with the abandoning projects, but I never get quite that far into my projects before I quit. I still say well done to you! And I have to find a bin in my house marked "youth"...assuming that you can reach in and retrieve some. THAT would be some kind of awesome right there.
I may have that vision vs. reality thing happening too. At least that seems like a better explanation than "I'm lazy".

TheQueen

Kristie - The Youth bin has my Spirograph, my tiny tea set, and my love letters. And yes, it would be nice to reach in and get, say, my sex drive.
