- In case you are unaware, Physical Therapy hurts. Most of it doesn't, but it's all a distraction from the three minutes some guy unapologetically hurts you. You wince, he stops, and then hurts you some more. I have stopped wincing because it seems to encourage him. Instead I breathe and distract myself by rubbing my other shoulder. Friday I scratched a hole in my shoulder to distract myself. On the plus side, I was able to use the ATM Friday without screaming.
- However, nothing in this world hurts like bone spicules.
- It seems there are theme days at PT: Mannequin Monday and Trivia Friday. On Monday, if someone yells "Mannequin" everyone must freeze. It seemed like a spontaneous thing, so I don't know if it will be back next Monday, but it relieves the boredom. Trivia Friday was too much trivia since Friday night I went to the United Way Teddy J Trivia event. We came in sixth out of one hundred. But the double dose of Trivia made me wonder, has there always been trivia? Specifically, was there a Victorian parlor game? Wikipedia only traces it back to the 50s.
- Friend #4 and I carpooled to trivia, and she delighted me by introducing me to a new stretch of road: Woods Mill to Page. I am so starved for new experiences that some new cement makes me happy.
- In that same vein, let's see if I can drag Gary to the Museum of Transportation. We haven't been since we were children.
Have you noticed that when he's hurting you, you tense your stomach muscles? I look on that as a bonus ab workout.

You need to read Braniac, by Ken Jennings. It's a history of trivia. Ken is the guy who won for 75 days or something on Jeopardy! a few years ago. Good book, funny guy.

Did you know the Ken is Friend #7's nephew? There's some trivia for you!

Big Dot - I'll start looking for that. I know my feet tense.
Trisha - He's the nephew of a friend of mine!
Caroline - Of course I know that! I even asked my doctor if he might be related to him, as he is a Mormon.

Hattie - I can tell I'm getting better, but I'm only 1/4th of the way through. I'm ready to be done.
